Frequently asked questions
How do I apply for a package?
Please click here for the Positivity by Post request form.
can i apply on behalf of someone else?
You can! But please do make sure it is someone you know well and who wouldn't mind you giving out their address. The last question on the form asks you to leave your name so that we can tell the person receiving the post that you nominated them.
do you store my address?
No addresses sent to me through the form are stored. Your details can only be viewed on google forms and are not added onto any other documents or databases. Your details get deleted as soon as the postage label is printed and put on the package.
do i need a diagnosis to apply?
You do not need to have an official diagnosis to apply for a package. The project started sending out to anyone with a chronic illness / disability / mental health condition but we will send to anyone who needs a little positivity. If you or someone you know is having a tough time / finding things difficult / in need of a little 'pick me up' then please apply. We love to make people smile!
can i apply multiple times?
If you feel that you'd benefit from another package, we do not mind you applying again in the future, but please be mindful that this is a small project, run primarily by one person on limited funds. Due to this we ask that you do not re apply in quick succession.
how much do the packages cost?
Positivity packages and cards are completely free! Yay!
how long is the wait time?
For a care package, you could be waiting up to a month and sometimes longer, although they are usually sent out within a couple of weeks of being requested. Please take into account that we get ALOT of applications and there has been delays with the Royal Mail recently so it could take a little bit to arrive. Thank you so much for your patience
can i donate towards the project?
Any donations are super duper appreciated and it is so kind of you. If you would like to donate, please click here.
