In May 2020, during the first lockdown of the Coronavirus pandemic, I faced a severe setback in my Agoraphobia recovery as all my support systems ceased. In this challenging time, a surprise parcel from my younger sibling lifted my spirits and inspired the creation of Positivity by Post.
Positivity by Post was established to support individuals in the UK struggling with mental health by sending free positivity packages. Since its inception, over 3,000 packages have been sent, bringing joy and a sense of connection through snail mail.
Positivity by Post is now focusing on the local community in Hinckley and Bosworth. This change allows the project to remain sustainable, build stronger local partnerships, and continue supporting people in a meaningful way.
